Christian Davis has a new brand called Eternal Drops.
University Academy sophomore Christian Davis has a new clothing brand called Eternal Drops that some UA students are rocking.
Davis said his faith was a main inspiration for the brand. He was going through a rough time and got guidance to take his problem to God. He said he started reading the Bible and saw a verse that inspired him to start a clothing brand.
Davis said, “I saw a verse in the Bible talking about how we are ambassadors for Christ, and it inspired me to spread the gospel through clothing.”
He has one item available for purchase, and it is a hoodie.
On the front of the hoodie in big letters is, “Yahweh,” with a cross and a crown of thorns. Davis chose Yahweh because he said it means God is breathing his breath into people.
The hoodies are available in 11 different colors including red, purple, yellow, blue and pink. The hoodie has rhinestones all around, and on the back right there is a tag that quotes Luke 12:7, which says in the Bible, “Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” This verse is the inspiration for the words on the back of the hoodie, which ask, “Are you not more valuable?” On the back of the hoodie there is also a hand pointing at a sparrow.
It seems like there will be some new drops coming soon. Davis recently has been drawing up some pants and will be soon releasing sets, zip ups and shorts.
Entrepreneurs face certain challenges, and sometimes that’s what makes them push even harder. Davis has faced his fair share of obstacles.
He said, “Nobody has faith in me. Nobody believes in a few years I could be a big brand for Christian clothing.”
Some things Davis struggles with include having to communicate with everyone and still having to go to track practice, do homework and go to work on top of working on his brand.
Entrepreneurs also often face the challenge of financial instability, especially in the early stages of the venture.
One person who does have faith in Davis is sophomore Rashad Green-Mosley. He said he knows Davis’ worth and he believes his business will grow a lot once the word gets out to everyone.
“I was proud because I really liked [the hoodie]. I kind of helped him get some ideas about it. When I saw the final product, it was perfect,” Green-Mosley said.
He said he has watched Davis work consistently on his brand.
He seems to think Davis is a great entrepreneur, not only because the two are friends, but also because of the way Davis is when it comes to money and financial things.
